![]() I know that Verizon has several USB dongles like the 551L, U620L, or UML295, but are these plug and play and are they reliable with at least a nightly pi reboot enough to keep it alive for a very long time? I will be using the Verizon 4G LTE network in the US. What I need is a hardware recommendation that:ġ) Is as close to plug and play as possible (if not have a ready-made script to enable)Ģ) Is low-cost so it can be deployed to dozens of sites (looking for under $50 for all extra components per pi)ģ) Is extremely reliable and will maintain uptime of many months or years without physical intervention ![]() I do not have extensive knowledge of Linux or scripting so I would like to minimize the brain damage involved in getting this to work. I'm aware that there are various shields and dongles available to provide cellular connectivity to RaspBerry Pi.
